Thanksgiving in July
September 3, 2025

This July brought us a beautiful and unexpected gift — a long-awaited reunion with the Aquino family. After nearly five years in Spain seeking specialized medical treatment for their son Noah, they were finally able to return for a visit. Their presence was a reminder of God's faithfulness, healing power, and the deep bonds formed through shared mission and life.

It was such a joy to see them again — to embrace familiar faces, share meals, and simply be together after so long. Hearing their testimony and all that God has brought them through over these past years deeply encouraged our hearts. Their journey has not been easy, but through every challenge, their trust in the Lord has remained strong.
I’m sure many of you have walked with the Aquinos throughout these past years, praying and following their updates as they navigated Noah’s treatment process. But hearing it all in person — from their lips — was a powerful witness of God’s goodness, mercy, and sustaining grace.
To mark the occasion, we gathered with friends and staff for a special Thanksgiving meal — in the middle of July! It was our way of giving thanks to God for the miracle of Noah’s life and celebrating the faithfulness that has carried the Aquino family through every season. It was a time of joy, gratitude, and reflection — filled with laughter, hugs, and stories of God’s goodness.
We continue to pray for them as they have returned to Spain and seek God’s guidance for their next steps. May the Lord continue to lead, strengthen, and provide for them in every way.

For us, it truly was Thanksgiving in July — a moment to pause and thank God not only for Noah’s health but also for the enduring friendships and the global family He has knit together through the ministry. Their visit refreshed our hearts and reminded us once again of God's goodness in every season.
“Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His love endures forever.”— Psalm 107:1
