A Plan for the Year to Come

A Plan for the Year to Come

Today is the 31st of December and as I ask Jesus what His plan is for this coming year, I find myself reflecting on the past year trying to remember if we have done all He asked. Quite honestly, this has been a very difficult year and it is easy to focus on the hard parts, but I know that seeds have been planted. Just last week, I issued our 17,000th patient chart. Each of those patients has heard the Gospel in one way or another. Many of those patients not only heard a message about following Jesus but many received prayer for healing or salvation. Our hope and prayer every day, is that each one will feel the love of Jesus, whether in the form of physical healing through medicine, or a supernatural touch from our Savior. We trust that each one has felt listened to and important.

We have cared for 20 widows, visiting with them each month to provide them with food, clothing, a small source of income, and the opportunity to learn about Jesus.

We traveled to 30 schools to share the Gospel through a science lesson and activities while focusing on the miracle of life that we have been given.

Each flight, whether for visitors or locals, gives us an opportunity to pray and share Jesus before the engine starts.

We are very humbly aware that not one seed sown nor one widow helped could have happened without the Lord’s help through people like you. We are so grateful to God for each of you!  Our prayer in this new year is that He will bless you abundantly more than you could ever think or imagine; that He will return 100-fold to you all that you have sown, especially here in Guatemala!
